Pros

Head of operation left the company to join another company.

Cons

If you are female or non-Caucasian employees, don't apply here. Also, HR is not treating employees with respect.

Pros

Company is committed to employee training and development. Willing to allow temp assignments, pay for training courses and graduate degrees, etc Job style exposes you to a lot of disciplines while working with the wider team. Gives newer employees a chance to figure out what interests them and where their skillsets are best used Family environment in plant and across country. Great team and great people

Cons

High stress at times Long hours - not required but the culture is to work overtime every day and frequent weekends Little direction and opportunities for feedback to management

Pros

Good pay, tend to get yearly increases and bonus payouts, strong support system from within Engineering Department, good opportunity to work on diverse portfolio of highly technical high pressure gas turbine component castings, access to old and new technologies in terms of design, CAD modeling, machinery/fabrication, metrology and measurement devices, etc.

Cons

Lack of support of Engineering Department from Operations Team. Difference in goals/metrics between Engineer Department and Operations/Manufacturing Department results in incohesive culture (disagreements, finger pointing, blame games). Lack of career development and/or promotion opportunity after attaining “Senior” status, unless you seek a role in Management. Vacation policy grants little vacation time (only awarded more vacation time after several years of service).
