      Pros

      Work environment is fair. Three breaks in an eight hour shift. There is still some old blood in here that knows the plant and can help you work on things. Unfortunately they are retiring more and more every year with little to no replacement of them. All of your PPE is provided including boots gloves and uniforms. All tools broken are replaced by company. It is a Union shop

      Cons

      Storeroom seems to forget that they are supposed to store items that are needed to repair machines. The union is not even close to being as strong as car plant or regular steel plant. You have to bring or buy your own tools company only replace when you break them. Pay isn’t as high as other plants close by. There is not enough maintenance workers to cover all areas correctly so you get bounced around. More maintenance management than maintenance workers. Used to get big profit sharing checks but not so much anymore
