Pros

Offers remote work and competitive salary, which is a rare combination with all of the industry wide RTO mandates.

Cons

Metrics are tracked at an oddly granular level (PR counts, AI usage) which results in poor development practices just to boost numbers. They've also started stripping away extra benefits (no more unlimited PTO, no more week of rest, no more sabbatical stipend).

Pros

None. Awful company. No culture. Bad management. Having alot of let goes which is not being talked about . I was part of sales team (account exeuctive:growth specialist) let go out of nowhere .... was top of activity etc . Madness

Cons

Many let goes happening within this company hiring people for just 3/4 months and not passing there probation. It will ruin your career. Taken chance leaving job to join here .

Pros

Compensation is competitive & benefits Plenty of nice colleagues

Cons

5pm club - have a system where they auto assign accounts to you throughout the day & if you are over 400 accounts at 5pm they take some off you (could be best accounts) & recycle them into a pool, meanwhile other reps then steal these accounts & are actively encouraged to do so. This system can't be turned off so if taking time off you need to bring your laptop to make sure your colleagues don't steal your accounts. Toxic Culture - also can't take more than a week off in sales, managers will grill you High turnover as people are burning out

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re sorry to see you move on from HubSpot. Our goal on the Sales team is to create a high-performance environment that also prioritizes fairness, teamwork, and support. We understand that some of our systems and processes need to evolve, which is why our sales leadership team is addressing this, and so much more. We would like to clarify that as part of the Growth Specialist/AE role, reps are allowed to source from open accounts. We know how demanding sales can be, and burnout is something we take seriously. Leadership is actively working to assess and refine areas that impact rep experience, and this includes how we balance urgency with sustainability. Thank you for the role you played during your time at HubSpot, and best of luck in your next role. – The Sales Leadership Team
