Pros

Authentic company culture with the founders still actively leading. Hudlies are highly motivated and possess a strong sense of pride. The products are excellent and generally easy to sell. Individualized autonomy and experiences beyond core responsibilities allows for career growth. The best benefits of any company I've worked with (Medical, Dental, etc.) The Hudl Daycare on site, free lunch, and fitness membership are three additional perks that I enjoy.

Cons

Demanding and constantly evolving work environment, often with a high level of activity and seasonal fluctuations May not be suitable for individuals accustomed to a traditional corporate environment. Woeful hodgepodge of sales tools/systems that are inefficient.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that you’re enjoying what makes Hudl so special—our world-class products, incredible culture and, most importantly, the Hudlies who create them. Perks like the ones you mentioned are just one of the ways we can thank you for giving us your time and talents, and to support your life beyond work. We’re actively looking for ways to streamline our processes to find better ways of working, so I appreciate you voicing your concerns about inefficiencies in our systems. Thanks for being an integral part of our journey thus far—glad to have you on the team!

Pros

Committed to evolving the corporate culture with the times Leadership actually cares about their employees personally, and advocates for them more than i've seen anywhere else. Despite external rhetoric, pays employees well in most areas of the company. Progress made is recent years in this area is downright impressive.

Cons

Has not performance managed under performers consistently until the last 1-2 years (getting much better at it). Sometimes makes small re-organizations too quickly. Execs can micro-manage fairly minor decisions and not trust the leaders advice.

Pros

Benefits and company culture were top notch. At the Senior level you receive unlimited PTO, even while working remote.

Cons

Management had changing expectations so the performance review process was always a missing target. It seems like the leadership of the business unit couldn't find success which lead to lay offs.

Thank you for taking the time to share honest review. We know our team is our strongest asset and (as you know) we value respectfully blunt feedback. While we’re glad to hear you appreciated our benefits, it’s tough to hear that you also experienced misaligned expectations during reviews. We’re continually working feedback into all our processes, so we’ll take this to heart.
