Pros

* Employee autonomy - values results not desk time * Embraces innovation * Stability (Hudl has been around since 2006) * Always learning * Fun and inclusive culture * Unlimited vacation - w/meeting-free days and holiday shutdowns to make it easy to take them * Remote friendly * Sabbaticals w/stipends * Impacts the world of sports right around us

Cons

* Fewer positions for specialists * With so many opportunities for new products, can be challenging to ensure existing ones get the attention they deserve * Some fragmentation in tech stacks due to acquisitions * Operations rotations

Pros

Hudl is a very cool company to work for and leads with positivity and inclusion. No joke — from the top down they wear it on their sleeves. Pay and benefits are competitive and the teams are great. It all adds up to a great place to work.

Cons

Hudl has shifted from a startup to a mid-size tech company with eyes on going large. There are actual and real growing pains associated with this. Most often when older processes or ways of working are clung to as a proxy for culture. Culture can grow!

Pros

I can't say enough great things about Hudl. The people are the best part of the job. Everyone from entry-level to the leadership team is committed to providing a great experience for fellow employees and our customers. Other pros include: - The leadership team genuinely listens to employee feedback about career development. Examples like investing in development programs to learn about different career paths and providing LinkedIn Learning accounts for every employee are just a couple of examples of the commitment to growth. - Flexibility to manage your life as necessary with unlimited PTO, paid sabbaticals, and great parental leave programs for every type of caregiver. - A beautiful office space with the flexibility to come in however often I want and be able to take advantage of things such as free lunch or fun competitive leagues like Darts and Ping Pong to meet new people.

Cons

With how geographically dispersed people are across the US and the Globe, it can be hard to build some connections with remote coworkers or those based out of other office locations.
