Pros

- WLB, 40 hours per week - People, met many great talented people, but this company cannot keep talents due to low compensation and bad benefits.

Cons

- No remote policy no even single day hybrid. Tons of people left due to they cancelled some days WFH policy in 2023. - Many foreign engineers stay here either is because H1b or green card, - Technologies are really old and obsolete, company wants to build everything from scratch but willing to pay little. It is still using late 90s version control software, they dont use git. - Good Talents keep leaving, good engineers dont want to stay at this company. - Job security becomes the worst, At the beginning of every year, there would be a 10% layoff. Severance package is also the worst, 30 years employees only got 2 weeks compensation. - Benefits are the worst, HSA changed from 1000 to 500, holidays changed to 8 days, It was 9 days before, but if you look around, there is no a 8 days holiday company exists. PTO 14 days. - Salary is pretty low compared to the market, you can barely pay your mortgage or house rent. - Company seems to terminate the plan of development of Geosat network, and changed to 5G, but it seems does not have any specific plan yet. - Merged with a bankrupt company Dish, stock price fell down.
