      Job is ok, pay is only low mid range, Operations facility "culture" is unhealthy.

      Pros

      You'll stay very busy and your skills will be very challenged. Some people I worked with were very nice and pleasant.

      Cons

      Management expects a lot of work hours on-site and is not "motivational" in their managing style. The pay is low as compared to what else is available in the job market. The work environment in Operations (Gaithersburg) is not always enjoyable. There is a lot of finger-pointing between the Engineering Dept (Germantown) and Operations (Gaithersburg). It is like an unnecessary rivalry between two players on the same team.

      Pros

      - Good place to start a career straight out of college - People are very thoughtful and understanding - their biggest virtue - Flexibility to learn anything if you are ready to work hard for it. - Room for innovation always present. - employees get comfortable too fast and for the long run. Good in case, you are looking for a job that helps/lets you focus on your personal life well

      Cons

      - Can get monotonous - Salary is not as per market standards, but so is not the default work. but room for invention is open.
