Benefits start day 1, long training time

Cons

120 day probation, very strict on bathroom breaks, lots of information in training that makes it hard to easily recall once on calls, can’t transfer to another role before a year and a half.

Miscommunications among the programs that Humana offers current position, feels more like retail customer service, even though we are supposed to specialize in healthcare

Pros

Humanas compensation package was nice and the 401K match was awesome

Cons

Humana talks a lot about work life balance but does not actually allow you to utilize the method. They had what is called a “mental health” break that you could take each day. An additional 10 minutes to reset but after being on calla upwards of 2 hrs long, I was never allowed to take advantage of that break. Every time I requested it, it got ignored. I found this to be unfortunate being that the role was high stress.
