      A very negative experience.

      Pros

      They encourage giving back to the community. The pay was comparable to similar positions held in the past. Nice to have the fitness center and food service on site.

      Cons

      Inadequate training, supervisors who do not know how to do their jobs, poor health insurance coverage, lack of meaningful communication, failure to address important issues in a timely manner.

      Pros

      Humana cares about giving the managers training and really cares for the well-being of their associates. If you are willing to learn, you can learn a lot.

      Cons

      All leaders are required to take leadership training courses and apply the knowledge. This seems to stop at the director level. It is frustrating having to deal with directors' petty ego problems amongst each other. I watched several sabatoge work done by another director's team, just to prove they were right. The only people that really care about associate engagement are the Process managers and Managers. The directors and higher just care about numbers on a piece of paper.

      pay not too bad, great health benefits

      Cons

      very clicky place, they do lay off's every five or so years. They let many many people go due to sending jobs overseas. Once they do these lay off"s they rehire at a lower rate.
