Pros

The work is interesting and co-workers are very helpful

Cons

Older workers are let go with no warning. One day the person is there and suddenly they are gone with no idea what happened. I saw this happen seven times. Something is fishy there.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Work from home. No exposure to Covid. Coworkers are nice.

Cons

HCO Culture has declined since restructuring and departure of a well respected MD leader. High deductible health plan . Workload keeps increasing with a level of stress that will make you physically and mentally ill. No regard for the members we serve. Management is unappreciative and will take credit for their employee’s work and accomplishments. Management is incompetent, gets their knowledge and answers from a few knowledgeable employees. Management cares more about their side jobs and socializing than doing any work. No chance for advancement if you’re over 45, unless you’re sleeping with your boss or bosses boss. You’ll work your butt off for no thanks and will be treated like you’re a complete moron while someone else steals your ideas and good work and pass off as their own. Humana used to be a good place to work but not so much any more.
