Huntington provides a lot of opportunities to increase your knowledge base while applying what you learn. Management trusted me to get done what was required with little overbearing pressure.
Cons
Unpaid on-call that reliably called in the middle of the night and on weekends. Raises and promotions locked behind 2 year time limit. I started off at an entry level pay since I had little experience, but I learned fast and took on many more responsibilities, so I felt I deserved a raise. However, they told me I needed to wait until the 2 year time limit, which felt longer than 2 years because I started on contract for 6 months. When the 2 year time frame came close I was told raises are capped around 7% and since I had been brought in at a lower rate, that raise simply wasn't enough. I was able to find a job at another company for a 28.5% increase
