Cons

I have a few decades in my industry and I have been lucky to work with some amazing employers and employees who handled stress and a fast paced environment like pros. Huntington is not one of them. I have been upset at the current state that I work in and my coworkers. I have had comments about my weight, workout activity, what I eat, and I have been yelled at for various reasons. Again, I am no amateur in my industry, however, people haven't behaved like this since the 90's. My expectations for this position was so enormous I was so proud to be at Huntington and for my new position. My managers language they use is so unprofessional. The training is lacking, and my manager is so intelligent and quick. They could really be something and a force to reckon with. But the sarcasm in my department is almost cruel. I have never been in this situation prior. No public transportation pretax. Overall benefits could be stronger. Upper management seems to be OK. I have had pleasant conversations with them and walked away impressed it seems to be my department where professionalism is lacking. Coworkers are stressed out the majority of the time and the joy that is in our industry? I just dont see it here, and we work in an amazing industry. I have secretly hoped to be laid off so I could get out of the bank, I have friends who are employment attorneys who want me to sue based on my documentation, but that has never been a situation I have wanted to participate in, until recently. The whole situation leaves me sad. This is my experience with the bank, I would hope this is a one off event, and others can enjoy their career at the bank.
