Pros

Connecting with the students and helping them in weak subjects.

Cons

The pay is way too low for experienced tutors/teachers considering the skills that are needed, and if there's a no-show, tutors only receive a half hour of pay ($7.50), which is insulting considering the use of gas and wear and tear on the car. Not only that, but they charge parents crazy amounts of money ($7k +), which goes back how they pay tutors/teachers so little is a joke. The curriculum is old and boring, and the books are so old that many of them are falling apart. I'd recommend being a private tutor instead so that you can find your own students and charge what you think you're worth.
