Pros

They offer flexible scheduling and actively look to promote their employees. It was very rewarding to help students increase their test scores and confidence.

Cons

Wish there was a better organizational system within the company.

Pros

Nothing; this was the worst company I've ever worked for.

Cons

All of my co-workers were miserable and complained about the company every time they went to work. I also ended up suing the specific branch that I worked for because they did not pay me for the time that I worked there. When I tried to contact the company for my paychecks, they refused to answer the phone and were conveniently out of the office every time I tried contacting them. They also destroyed my employee file and acted as if I didn't even work there. Their employee turnover rate is also extremely high because everyone that works there is in the same boat--they don't get paid or they don't get paid the right amount for the hours they work. The employees usually don't fight this as the money they lose isn't worth fighting for, which, in turn, reinforces Huntington's corporate workers to continue scamming their employees.

Pros

Clearly structured activities, teachers are given a decent amount of autonomy and managers trusted them to make good decisions. Record keeping was pretty easy, and the students were mostly cooperative.

Cons

Sometimes scheduling led to large gaps between shifts on the same day, which can be difficult for people who commute like I did.
