Nice people, nice environment, should be better pay

Pros

Never have to lesson plan, low stress job, nice management, nice coworkers. Not much stress if you are a phonics teacher, though it can be kind of boring listening to phonics hour after hour. The floor is less boring, but with 4 students to 1 teacher, you are very BUSY!

Cons

Very little pay for a 4-year agree. Don't expect a lot of hours. Not a career. After taxes, driving time, etc...not worth the little money left over. $12 an hour and I think the students pay at least 4-5x that, if not more.

HLC in business for 30+ years Possibility on career progression through the regional level and beyond Get to help kids whose academic needs are not being met by their school

Cons

CD is much more a sales job than a management job Performance is based on quantity of students more than quality of work Low pay for teachers makes it is tough to get the very best teaching staff on board
