      Pros

      I had a good manager, who was a pleasure to work with until he got let go for asking for reasonable compensation.

      Cons

      Anyone who is good at their job leaves due to poor compensation and disrespect from the upper management. I was being paid $12/hour for one on one sessions with students whose parents would pay a minimum of $82/hour. My manager left because he was getting his hours capped between tutoring and managerial responsibilities. He genuinely loved teaching, but upper management just churned him through the system.

Regarding compensation, the hourly rates offered to part-time teachers are in line with substitute teacher pay rates.       Pros

      Students are really the only pro, if you want to get into education it's a good place to interact with different students

      Cons

      Pay, cancellations, gaps in scheduling, periods of declined enrollment, no raise, no pay if you show up and student cancels
