Pros

There are basically no pros. I agree with most of previous review, this is a not bad place for interns or people right out of college who can enjoy the following "Perks": Free soda Free coffee Free gym (which would be an average $20 monthly fee anywhere in cleveland area) $10 haircut ($5 more anywhere else) Travel Agent on site (are you serious!!!). So much for a tech company!! who goes to a travel agent to book a flight? ah, have you heard of expedia.com ??

Cons

Please refer to the pros. It is a really depressing environment at Hyland where the only for success is playing along that Hyland is one of the best places to work in the nation. I believed that until I worked there. It is not by any standard.

No Longer a Great Place to Work

Pros

-Flexible schedule (depending on manager and department) -Happy hours and parties are nice

Cons

-Management is incompetent at best -Pay is abysmal (see literally EVERY OTHER REVIEW that was put on here by HR to boost ratings) -Re-org of R&D did nothing but make things more difficult for everyone that isn’t in upper management -There’s so many levels of management I don’t even know what half of them DO. Whenever messages come down from the top we play this horrible game of telephone and the message gets mangled almost immediately before it reaches the “grunt” employees.

Pros

Christmas gifts, company swag, people are nice and polite

Cons

Old school policies, bad pay, benefits are the worst I've seen since 1991. Managers micromanage and there are no growth opportunities. If you are fresh out of college, it is a great entry level place to be. But if you have years of professional work experience and have been around the corporate block, do not bother interviewing with Hyland. Seasoned pros move on quickly. This is a company for fresh-faced newbies only. Older folks won't drink the Koolaid and Hyland does not like that.
