      Excellent place to gain experience for entry-level workers

      - Free coffee and other drinks - The on-site cafeteria - Occasional parties - Great place for those starting their careers who are more interested in making friends (those who are typically single and without children) than making market average pay, working with and learning from the best and career advancement

      Cons

      - Nepotism run rampant - Unqualified executive leadership; multiple lack even Bachelor degrees - Highly politicized environment - Unless you join the Hyland Software cult, and drink the Kool-Aid, not only won't you advance, but you will likely lose your job - Pay is significanly below market average - Longevity with the company rather than talent is rewarded - Few people to learn from as Hyland will not pay what it takes to retain their best mid and upper level employees or to hire significant talent from outside the company; a real world perspective is lacking and employees are not challenged nor do they challenge the status quo - Bonuses are an absolute joke - Performance reviews mean nothing - Executive leadership lacks courage
