Pros
Sabbatical, PTO, LSA, flexible work environment
Cons
Horrific C-level management. My company was acquired by Hyland, so I had no choice but to work for them, or leave. Since I needed a job, I stayed. From the beginning the C-levels touted "family, family, family." And then the layoffs started. I get that businesses need to adjust from time-to-time, but this is a company that was known for protecting their people...not anymore. In the most recent all-hands meeting, the CEO stated that Hyland is not a family, rather a business. Yes...they are a business, but with family being shoved down our throats, we were all duped. Frankly, if the C-levels cared so much about their people, they should have taken a pay cut rather than cutting 1,000 super-talented people.
