Pros

Since coming to Hypertec, I have found a supportive and wonderful work environment. Everyone has been truly welcoming, and everyone here is dedicated to moving the company forward. Our marketing is top notch, and our upper management is always supportive of our ideas, and help us consistently improve our messaging and improve our relationships with our key partners. I am proud to be an employee of Hypertec Direct and Hypertec, and excited about where we are headed.

Pros

Great company to work for. Hypertec treats their team member well and with respect. People get along well and work hard. Very helpful atmosphere with few distractions. Training is provided. If you organize yourself and work hard you can do very well here. The sales systems are simple, and easy to learn and use. This is a great company for experienced B2B IT sales reps. Easy to understand compensation plan for sales, with no advanced math degree required to figure how you get paid or unrealistic quotas. Hypertec has many other opportunities and is a growing company that anyone would be proud to work for.

Cons

Inexperienced sales reps will find this type of job very challenging. If you have not sold IT hardware and software for at least 3 years and recently, it will be a steep learning curve and will take you longer to make sales. If you are an 8am to 5pm person that spends little or no additional time past business hours improving yourself (i.e. taking additional sales or technology training) you will not make it.

Pros

T he non-Canadian employees, occasional free lunch, hours.

Cons

The is the most toxic environment. The Managers are verbally abusive, like to threaten employees with their jobs, bad job training (they don't give you all the information required to perform the job functions). Management has no accountability, they blame the employees. Extremely high turnover and very wishy-washy. No raises.
