Pros

Short Term purposes and good for between the jobs. Their pay and benefits are OK when compared to other companies.

Cons

No long term gain as you won't be promoted unless you can play politics. Lot of bureaucracy within the company and no fairness within the promotions of the company.Lot of discrimination within the company and there is no respect to the people who work harder.

Pros

A lot of wonderful and smart people work here, which education ranging from bachelor's to phd level. Because of that, there's a lot one can learn from his or her peers. It feels like a place where employees are encouraged to learn. One of the great things here is that you might get to work on cool problems, that are neat to think about, and come up with a solution to.

Cons

Unfortunately, a lot of things don't operate as they should. the computing environment isn't set up in a way that lets engineers work efficiently. in addition, there continues to be a huge lack of communication between different teams.

Pros

Honestly, I can't think of any for working at Ask.com. I kinda like the employee perks from IAC Connect which offers cell phone plan discounts. If one's interested in the Indian culture, there are plenty of opportunity to learn about it from your outsourced Cognizant contractor.

Cons

Shortsightedness, lack of communication, no regards for employee's opinion. Professional development is a joke. Epitomizes corporate culture -- you're expendable.
