Pros

Working at IBM offers lots of skilled collegues and endless opportunities for personal and professional development. Rarely IBM sets any limits as long as you got a good reason.

Cons

IBM is a big company and sometimes too bureaucratic and heavy to deal with being a sales person who only wants the best for the customer

Pros

IBM offers a good opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills. Management is generally supportive and caring but sometimes not given enough authority to be able to effect necessary change.

Cons

A classic problem is the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. There are many instances where different business units within IBM were given conflicting or competitive goals.

Pros

Size of IBM allowed for very competitive heatlth benefits packages making premiums more affordable than most other employers of smaller size. Loved the Paid time off program. Can be very flexible depending on location within organization.

Cons

IBM is known for layoffs. Contract workers. All about bottom dollar.
