Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Fake glitz and glamor. Products are no longer what they should be, nor do they meet many of the marketing stated capabilities. Minimal employee investment, with the exception of on line courses. As long as it doesn't cost them $, its fine. Employee rating system is bogus, and don't expect a raise ever again. People try and do well at the expense of others. Customers now come last - which bodes ill for getting future work.

Pros

Good pay Good learning opportunities Good brand Good people Quite accommodating to your needs

Cons

No free coffee..first organization I have worked for where nothing is free..not even hot water... Expensive cafeteria.... Can get quite bureaucratic so if you are not used to a work culture and know how to get things done, it can become frustrating. Growing within the organization may be a challenge unless you are spending 30% of your time with that mindset to network, find opportunities and grow. Many IBMers actually move elsewhere to come back at a higher level
