Pros

Great place to work at the core of IT, not just the 13957th user interface on top of it. Many very capable people (not all, but most). Management is very much understanding the personal needs of employees, e.g. family situation, and is really concerned about helping (which is more than "listening").

Cons

Pay is ok, but could be better. Buildings are at times not the newest. Nowadays the company tries to save money quite a bit too much. Too much driven by quarter results. Old employees have MUCH better financial benefits than the young generations.

Pros

The company is dedicated to solving big problems and giving their employees the resources, time, and motivation to be creative and innovative. There is a lot of incentive to work on tough problems that nobody has worked on before.

Cons

Projects can often get shelved without getting off the ground. It's easy to work on projects that don't go anywhere. There is a big focus on developing patent-able software, but there can be a lack of guidance in terms of what to work on.
