Pros
Excellent health insurance with a low deductible at a very low cost. 401k matching at 3%. PTO (sick time and vacation time combined) is on par with other companies and increases at 5 year intervals. Paid Federal holidays. They offer a Pension plan, fully funded by the company. Culture is a big part of what makes this a great place to work. Everyone seems to be on the same page of member service and goes out of their way to make sure members and team members are taken care of. Executive leadership is in touch with individuals and are approachable and easy to talk to. They listen to what employees are saying and react appropriately to the wants and needs of our teams.
Cons
They do not offer maternity or paternity leave. Although I'm past having kids, I still think it is an important benefit that they are missing. Compensation (salary/bonus) is less than other financial institutions for similar jobs. Some systems/products that are commonplace in other financial institutions are lacking or nonexistent. I blame Alkami (3rd party provider). In some departments there is a lack of career path. Often times positions are offered to people outside the organization, because they have the experience needed, although there is no path for current employees to gain such experience.
