Pros

- ICF Next has a wealth of resources that enable employees to excel in their roles. The company invests in tools and training to ensure we can deliver high-quality work. - The workplace culture is supportive and collaborative. Colleagues are talented, dedicated, and always willing to help. - The flexibility to work remotely is a significant perk. - Working with a balanced mix of federal and commercial clients provides valuable experience and keeps the work interesting and dynamic. - The company prides itself on the quality of its deliverables, which makes it a reputable player in the industry.

Cons

- The benefits are standard but not particularly competitive compared to other companies in the industry. - Compensation is on the lower side when compared to similar roles at competing firms. - The performance review process heavily emphasizes selling services to clients, which can overshadow the importance of the actual work produced. This can be frustrating if you prefer to focus on core job responsibilities.

Pros

WFH very easy work, work-life balance is great

Cons

jobs for new graduates will start $50-$65k with 2-3% salary increases per year. Similar pay to an NGO or non-profit. very little learning opportunities, most of the work for new hires will be intern-like. do not expect to learn anything in your first two years.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoy working from home and appreciate the work-life balance. Navigating growth opportunities within a company can be overwhelming. We provide various learning options, including project management, business development, and both professional and technical training. You can choose from on-the-job training, mentoring, peer feedback, online courses, or instructor-led classes. Start by creating a Career Pathfinder Development Plan and scheduling an impact conversation with your manager to discuss your career goals. The impact conversation is a great opportunity to learn about ICF’s compensation philosophy and discuss what’s needed to get you to your desired pay. - KZ
