Collaboration is impossible across LOBs because they operate in silos. Bad planning creates very stressful conditions due to unrealistic timelines. Besides the heavy work load, Developers have to constantly search for project work. Because of bad planning most people people have to work very long hours. Very old company culture, lacks innovation. No room for creative thinking because the only thing that matters is billable client work. huge disconnect between junior and senior management, mismanagement and underutilization of resources, little room for innovation and creativity, low pay, very "corporate", little concern for employee satisfaction. This company is not really concerned with retaining employees, at least that's how they come off. There is very little room for growth, both personal and professional. They are so client-driven that analytical methods have not changed over the last 15 years because of the constant push to maintain profitability. This lack of innovation, or push to truly innovate will really hurt ICF in the long run.
