Pros

Great coworkers who make the workday fun. 3 company outings a year. Free snacks and lunches for various holidays, and a daily credit to the cafeteria. Good first job out of college. Decent work life balance for the media industry. If you are overwhelmed with work you do have to speak up to get the help you need though.

Cons

Nepotism and hiring executives' kids and friends. Forcing 4 days in office on employees while touting the culture it breeds. This includes forcing you to check in when you're in the office so they can keep track of you. They even had an assigned person to take attendance before COVID. "Unlimited PTO" but everyone gets an alloted number of days in the system and you are actively discouraged from exceeding it. Bending over backwards for clients even if it negatively affects employees. Every promotion gives a generic $10k bump in pay, regardless of the position or its responsibilities. They have started 'dress coding' people and sending them home as if we're in high school.

Pros

-fun work parties, tickets to sports games given -some nice, fun people work here -"unlimited" PTO (had gotten stricter) -fun work outings if your team has a good relationship with vendors

Cons

-ridiculously low base pay, almost impossible to survive if you are living on your own -cliquey & gossipy environment among much of staff -boring, mindless work that will drive you up a wall if you don't have good relationships with coworkers to keep you sane -was presented as hybrid, super flexible schedule (3 days in, 2 days remote), but is now 4 days required in office and optional remote day Friday -low pay and poor work culture is masked with occasional parties, small perks -so many people seem miserable at this company and bond over complaining to each other and the fact that they don't like the company -many skills are non transferable to other jobs -little room for growth, and even if you do move up, you still make no money until you’re a director
