Think long and hard before working here
Pros
Nice people to work with and unlimited time off.
Cons
ICON is not an ideal company to work for. While my initial experience with ICON was positive, I soon became aware of the questionable office politics at play. There are limited opportunities for career advancement, and they often resort to offering perks like free days off or lunches in exchange for favorable ratings, aiming to secure their position as a top workplace. Additionally, some of the managers lack competence, with my own boss seemingly unaware of our team's actual responsibilities. They also employ tactics to withhold earned commissions, making it challenging to earn a substantial income within the company. However, if you're looking to gain some initial experience and dip your toes in the industry, ICON can be a decent place to work for a maximum of two years before seeking better opportunities elsewhere.
