The job offers an opportunity to do cutting edge analytical work using lc-msms or Elisa immunoassays on clinical/animal drug study samples. Interesting work. Professional job.
Cons
Staff lacks diversity: white, from the area, and knowing only what they were told from working there. Almost military in management structure, with top-down communication only. Part of this is due to FDA regulations but part is just the culture there. Worker and manager Frustration is very high and work load is unrelenting. Often have to put work ahead of own needs like eating, urinating, going home for the night. Unless you fit in, have allies to help out, and have good self-confidence, you won't make it. HR and Safety management are disgraceful. Hard making a profit in this service industry.
