      Pros

      Great pay and benefits. Idex owns a variety of niche companies that are essential to our everyday lives. Company is building a great portfolio consistently.

      Cons

      Doesn't promote from within. Hires people from outside with no knowledge of product, equipment used to produce product, etc.

      Pros

      Good forward looking company with emphasis on talent development. IDEX takes the talent we have now and helps us move to the next level.

      Cons

      Work/Life balance is strained and work can feel overwhelming. Constant change gives the company an overall unsettled feel.

      - IDEX Corporation is a great company with strong values that invests a lot in employees, training, and our prosperity - Senior Staff members know that while the bottom line is important, fostering and enhancing talent is also imperative - Two weeks vacation plus holiday shutdown - CEO seems like a great guy- very humble and approachable

      Cons

      - Lake Forest isn't the most exciting area and a sort of long commute for younger employees who want to live in the city - At the corporate office it's rather quiet and reserved
