Everything is about money and no further out than the quarter. The culture is rotten everywhere, even though they speak to it all the time. Complete lack of effort from anyone that works for IDEX.

The Knight BU was a horrible place to work. Corporate was definitely more focused on short term gains than long term success at the BU level. Corporate’s shortsightedness lead to a very unhealthy political culture which caused instability and poor performance at the operating level. Days packed with meetings took priority over getting actual work done. There were some great people who worked there but it’s difficult to have a true sense of team with the IDEX corporate structure.
