      Pros

      Some departments and their leaders are really nice. They would really help you grow and work in alignment with organisation goals. Opportunity to travel.

      Cons

      Hire and fire system. Exceptionally smart people are not required. Marketing department is worst. Least interested in quality of work. Only looks for people who will bow and are ready to get insulted as per wish. If you are someone who is mediocre and ready to sacrifice self respect you can work well in this dept!

      Benefits and pay were on par with industry avg.

      Cons

      The Knight BU was a horrible place to work. Corporate was definitely more focused on short term gains than long term success at the BU level. Corporate’s shortsightedness lead to a very unhealthy political culture which caused instability and poor performance at the operating level. Days packed with meetings took priority over getting actual work done. There were some great people who worked there but it’s difficult to have a true sense of team with the IDEX corporate structure.

      The pay was competitive as were benefits.

      Cons

      Absolutely lacks any company culture. Cutthroat GE driven philosophy. Complete lack of trust and willingness to develop employees. Their iSay surveys are not respected. 8020 is poorly implemented. If you want to be treated like a number, this is the place for you.
