      Awesome People, But Poor Benefits

      Pros

      I loved my manager and my fellow coworkers. The upper management (non-executives) was awesome to work with. The projects were fairly fun as well. At IGT, you will be able to live a pretty relaxed engineering life, you get standard benefits and vacation time, good amount of bonus time off and you will for the most part enjoy your time there. Its a position that is made to work at for 20-40 years and then retire, nothing changes too much not even the work that you do.

      Cons

      * There isn't much innovation. * The benefits are very average. * Fairly boring and a bit tedious. * Below average salary.

      Pros

      Good place to work, good people, good benefits, good pay. I have enjoyed working there twice as an quality assurance engineer and software engineer.

      Cons

      The company has a strong tradition of doing layoffs. It seems like every 3 to 4 times a year we would go through layoffs and the staff is always scared of being let go. So if your looking for a career, I would recommend looking someplace more stable.
