Pros

They really try to deliver good benefits for their employees the product is priced fairly and affordably people react favorably when you say you work there Family really is a priority

Cons

They are very conflict avoidant, so getting a straightforward answer is tough The heirarchy is very strong, but pretends it isn't Decisions are mostly made behind the scenes They'd rather find a major design flaw 3/4s of the way through a process than say up front that there's a problem, and risk offending someone.

Pros

The pay was great for the area as most are for minimum wage. Full-time benefits were great...extremely inexpensive...the discount wasn't bad 15%....

Cons

The benefits for part-time associates was terrible. Extremely expensive so much that most part-timers only used ikea for the benefits...their pay paid for cost of benefits....store hours are a joke...ikea is super cheap on hours so expect to only be working 40hrs a week if your SALARIED...otherwise....part-time averages 12-15.....mod full averages 20-30 and full time averages 30+....
