      Pros

      Working with Edwin's and Masood's team in Pasadena, I had an excellent structural engineering team that was highly knowledgeable, supportive, and collaborative. Working alongside experienced engineers and designers allowed me to learn best practices in seismic design, detailing, and code compliance while receiving constructive guidance and mentorship.

      Pros

      Limited positives. After the merger/acquisition, it no longer felt like a place where an individual could make a meaningful impact.

      Cons

      I experienced the merger/acquisition from a middle-management perspective. The ESOP emphasis, combined with vague responses to reasonable, standard questions, came across as inauthentic, scripted, and overly PR-driven, which eroded trust. After factoring in the reduction/loss of certain benefits, overall compensation effectively was a pay cut.
