Pros

The company has a very noble mission which includes "saving lives by providing blood and services to support transfusion and transplantation medicine in the Inland Northwest". Company recruits and trains employees to promote the mission statement. Employees always treated as an important asset.

Cons

The goal has been overshadowed by outside influence of management. Hard work to be able to balance promote company mission with management requests.

Pros

Nice people. You are doing something wonderful for the community. Compensation and benefits were excellent. Loved traveling around the community meeting donors.

Cons

Inept management with low integrity with some exceptions. The CEO was new and didn't seem effective at all. Management complained about him all the time I was there. Not very inspiring. One time he was mad and actually swore while speaking in a staff meeting - very unprofessional.

Pros

I like the feeling I am still helping patients, just not direct patient care. I like the "behind the scenes" customer support for co-workers, donors, patients & outside vendors.

Cons

Hours cut from 40 to 20 forcing me to look for other source of income, job
