Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we’re happy to hear that you enjoy working here. We are delighted to support all our managers across IRIS, we offer a variety of training and tools to develop the skills they need to motivate, develop, and inspire their teams. For example, we created our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme which is a dedicated four-day course to provide managers with the key elements of effective management, from motivating and engaging people to goal setting, to giving feedback and dealing with conflict. We are proud to have supported 42 managers through Manging with IMPACT this year and had full attendance on our 15th course. We are delighted that through Peakon, our employee engagement tool, ‘Management Support’ is one of our highest scoring drivers of engagement, with an eNPS of +68. However, we know there is always more we can do and are committed to encouraging continuous feedback and engaging with employee’s comments. Through Peakon, managers have made over 46,000 comment interactions with employees, which enables both bottom-up and top-down communication. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Kind regards, the HR team

Thanks so much for your feedback. As you mentioned in the “Pros” we are glad that you considered IRIS as a great place to learn new things and a good place for freshers to start their career. With respect to workload, we do provide attractive productivity-linked monetary incentives for the extra hours worked by the employees. Our employees work for extra hours only to work on urgent deliverables, however with flexible timings. If you have any suggestions for additional benefits you would welcome, please reach out to IRIS HR representative. Looking forward to your longer association with IRIS, the HR team

Pros

I have worked with wonderful people who are bright, knowledgeable and hard working, Good agile processes

Cons

IRIS overwork their staff, under value them by giving them low salaries, excuses for not providing 100% percent bonuses, promotions, salary increases. I have had two promotions with no salary increases, but IRIS will make you feel that I should appreciate the promotion given, Slow progression. There is a lot of who you know that can help you move up the ladder very quickly. Because of this some people have been let down and not given a fair opportunity. HR favours management. If you have a grievance, management will always come on top.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We are delighted to reward our employees for their hard work, celebrating 152 promotions in the last 12 months and offering a variety of annual bonus plans and monthly commission schemes. Each year, we are proud to run a salary review process, where we use a best practice and evidence-led process to fair and competitive salary increases. This ensures increases are assigned fairly and consistently across the organisation. We are also proud to be recognised as a Real Living Wage employer. This means we commit to paying a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. Investing in our employees personal and professional development is also important to us. We are delighted to run an extensive range of progression opportunities, from our annual High Potential scheme, which provides our employees with a yearlong course to progress their careers with us, through networking sessions, webinars, and other development activities, to our IRIS Mentors, which encourages senior leaders to share their knowledge and expertise to support a colleagues’ progression and development. Over the last 12 months, we have also enrolled 19 apprentices to join our cohort of 52, provided 37 courses in our Spring/Summer Curriculum and delivered 155 training sessions, as well as supporting 74 mangers with our Managing with Impact programme and are welcoming 43 senior employees to our new Leading with Impact programme. We’re also working towards publishing clear career paths for all employees across the business, so that everyone can flourish in their profession. We’re sorry to hear that this hasn’t been your experience, and we strongly encourage you to reach out to your HR representative, so that she can help. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey.
