Pros

- Amazing people - you see this on every review on glassdoor no matter how positive or negative the review. That's because the people really do make the company and that's the same for the Faulkner House office. Great team atmosphere in and out of the office. - Great Incentives - something to win every day. Nice to work for something other than commission - Hardworking Managers - the managers are always doing everything they can to try and get their teams to hit target. - Work/Life Balance - anyone can work past 5pm but it's never expected. Everyone in the office is out together every Friday. - Career - I feel that Iris are very fair with progression. If you want to progress, you tell your manager, they tell you what you need to do and if you do it as well as going the extra mile, you will be rewarded. At least that was my experience. Overall, Iris was an amazing company to work for until this year when the targets got more and more unachievable

Cons

Targets are the only con I could possibly give for Iris. All the negatives you see on all the other reviews all stem from the targets being too high. Sort the targets out and all the problems people are complaining about on this site disappear. All I can think is that the people higher up who have no engagement with the people who are actually making this business money are getting way too greedy. It was the same every month, you would look at your target, then look at the number of your accounts and think how is this possible? I couldn't see this improving, in fact it felt like it was going to get worse. If I could see any improvement in the targets, I would have recommended this company to anyone

Pros

Even though a lot of people are leaving, there are still some good people there. Additionally the work/life balance is relatively good and you'll get to finish work on time most days.

Cons

I've never known a company more on a downward slide than IRIS, particularly the HCM Division. They're losing staff at a ridiculous rate, with at least 3 people a month from Sales leaving, and a 100% staff turnover level in Marketing compared to about 6 months ago. Sales people simply don't want to work in an environment where commission is not achievable due to targets which are not doable (in November 2017 only ONE PERSON in Sales hit target...) Marketing don't want to work for a company where Sales come first no matter what, and have more of a say in Marketing campaigns that they do. Sales literally tell Marketing how to do their job which I'm sure explains everyone jumping ship to more modern-thinking companies. Marketing are not creative and use the same offers for months on end, to the point where customers had no benefit taking advantage of an offer because they knew it would be on again a few weeks later. It's got to the stage now where there's a real toxic atmosphere in the Faulkner House office, with management literally emailing the Sales team telling them to tell 15 minute lunches so they're back on the phones sooner when they're having a particularly bad day. Additionally the HCM Senior Management Team are some of the rudest, most unapproachable people I've ever shared an office with, and Sales in particular being awful, although they've recently brought back an old Director to keep an eye on everything. Maybe things are changing, but by time they do, everyone who adds value to the HCM Division will have left.

Pros

Where do I start. I have been at IRIS for a few years and it is an amazing company to work for. The energy in the office and the friendships that are created makes going to work enjoyable. IRIS is a place where you can progress and develop within and always get recognised for your hard work. The rewards are always a bonus including the yearly achievers club where you can be treated to a 5* trip abroad! I only have great things to say about this company!

Cons

I honestly dont have any to share as anything negative has always been addressed when raised with management
