Pros

The supervisors were very willing to teach you how to do your job. They understood if you didn't understand something. The office was very casual. Co-workers were always friendly and helpful.

Cons

Had a very high stress workload. The food in the cafeteria prices were ridiculous. The work became somewhat tedious after a while. But, that was to be expected.

It was an okay job, but I wouldn't go back.

Pros

Working for the federal government provded good benefits, flexible hours, job security. Most of the people I worked with were great, hard working individuals

Cons

Many long term employees (20+ years) tended to be complacent, even lazy, about their work. Seems like they were just going through the motions until retirement.
