Pros

Great pay and benefits, no where else in this area can compete with what is offered here. I am thankful to have my job.

Cons

The only complaint that I have is the overtime that we may have during year end. It is not a definate, but a possibility.

Pros

There is advancement to be placed into a higher position. There is free training. You can gain valuable experience which could be used towards a future job position.

Cons

Can be repetitive. It is a stressful environment. You do have to work at least 90 days in order to get another or even better position at the IRS. Pay is okay. In order to move up a grade or step you must work one full year. If you are working a temporary position that is less than 5 months you do not qualify for health or medical benefits. I recommend finding a job that offers a complete or partial benefits package from the start.
