This is a very sad company indeed! It is very hard to imagine that any professional with integrity would state that there is anything close to a work-life balance here. I was flabbergasted when I read those comments and felt I had to write something truthful. You are always expected to work in order to meet production demands regardless of weekends, holidays, vacation (God forbid). This is the kind of place that actually gives employees recognition for NOT taking any vacation time....no kidding! The management states that overtime is not "manditory" but has a sneaky way of making you feel like a louse if you do not work when they need "all hands on deck" which translates into the end of each and every month!. Many of the "managers" are promoted but have no management skills whatsoever other than reminding you that they are "your boss" and threats that if you don't work more, there may be no company or job to work for in the future. The amount of negative comments, undermining gossip, and just plain nastiness is really so inappropriate. It is nearly impossible to determine who is for real! There are many people who work there because their opportunities to find positions with other employers are limited not because they love the job. I was fortunate enough not to be one of them. No amount of free food, alcohol, or seltzer would ever make me refer someone to this organization. Of course, everyone has the right to judge for themselves but going into something with your eyes wide open is not a bad thing. Be careful of suggestions that you make...if they are really good, someone may take all the credit without giving you the slightest nod. There were some incredibly gifted people working there when I was hired and for a brief period after, but eventually, they saw the unfortunate truth. In some cases, there were individuals treated so poorly and issues that were handled without the slightest regard for that person's sense of pride/dignity. I really question the viability of the company and anyone considering a position with them should really try to evaluate the bottom line regarding ISO Claims Partners operating revenue over the past 5 years before taking a job. It really shocked me when I found out. One last comment that is so important to make for others that may follow. This company is not interested in investing in it's employees. Only in using them to reach their goals. My advice would be to look for an employer who has some interest in providing true growth opportunities for it's employees (not just silly titles) and can give you concrete examples of how they do that in practice. If you dig deeper you will not find those examples in this company. Of course, some of the fish in this company have gotten bigger but the size of the pond is still very small and may someday totally evaporate! My advice is to put your talents and energy to work in a company that can and will give back to you in a measurable way.
