Too many cons for only one pro.

Pros

Work from home Fridays is a pro.

Cons

Low salary, large workload, no room for growth. You will be working for people who have inflated job titles and you will quickly learn that they spend their day delegating the tasks they don't want to down to you. Even when you receive any kudos, you know it is insincere.

Pros

Pay was competitive. They purchased company lunches quite often. My supervisor was a sweetheart.

Cons

it seems there is a core group or "original" members that rule the place. I got mixed signals often from upper management. High turn over of employees. The kind of climate where, even if you are asked your opinion, you likely should not give it! I have heard horror stories about their HR dept. but likely, I never had much interaction with it.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. ISO Claims Partners always encourages and welcomes employees to provide feedback on how we can continually strive to make our organization the best place to work. The leadership team encourages and embraces all feedback and ideas from its employees. We are really proud of the programs, benefits, and initiatives we have introduced to the organization which resulted specifically from employee feedback. We have also recently implemented a “Shark Tank” program that encourages ideas from employees, whether it’s to improve a process or implement a new product, in addition to our “Back of the Napkin” innovation sessions. Our HR staff always maintains an open door policy as well as proper levels of confidentiality. We are sorry to hear that anyone has had a bad experience in providing your opinion at ISO CP or with the HR department itself. We continuously strive to provide HR support and coaching to our employees to help them navigate through challenges that occur during anyone’s career. We encourage anyone who has had a poor experience to let us, or anyone in the leadership team, know so that we can ensure we are always providing the best service possible to our employees. Even though you indicate you are no longer employed with ISO CP, I still encourage you to reach out to me with your specific feedback.

Pros

Some free food, free booze at times, coffee. Everyone gets a "title" of one sort or another. Small company which makes it possible to establish some relationships.

Cons

This is a very sad company indeed! It is very hard to imagine that any professional with integrity would state that there is anything close to a work-life balance here. I was flabbergasted when I read those comments and felt I had to write something truthful. You are always expected to work in order to meet production demands regardless of weekends, holidays, vacation (God forbid). This is the kind of place that actually gives employees recognition for NOT taking any vacation time....no kidding! The management states that overtime is not "manditory" but has a sneaky way of making you feel like a louse if you do not work when they need "all hands on deck" which translates into the end of each and every month!. Many of the "managers" are promoted but have no management skills whatsoever other than reminding you that they are "your boss" and threats that if you don't work more, there may be no company or job to work for in the future. The amount of negative comments, undermining gossip, and just plain nastiness is really so inappropriate. It is nearly impossible to determine who is for real! There are many people who work there because their opportunities to find positions with other employers are limited not because they love the job. I was fortunate enough not to be one of them. No amount of free food, alcohol, or seltzer would ever make me refer someone to this organization. Of course, everyone has the right to judge for themselves but going into something with your eyes wide open is not a bad thing. Be careful of suggestions that you make...if they are really good, someone may take all the credit without giving you the slightest nod. There were some incredibly gifted people working there when I was hired and for a brief period after, but eventually, they saw the unfortunate truth. In some cases, there were individuals treated so poorly and issues that were handled without the slightest regard for that person's sense of pride/dignity. I really question the viability of the company and anyone considering a position with them should really try to evaluate the bottom line regarding ISO Claims Partners operating revenue over the past 5 years before taking a job. It really shocked me when I found out. One last comment that is so important to make for others that may follow. This company is not interested in investing in it's employees. Only in using them to reach their goals. My advice would be to look for an employer who has some interest in providing true growth opportunities for it's employees (not just silly titles) and can give you concrete examples of how they do that in practice. If you dig deeper you will not find those examples in this company. Of course, some of the fish in this company have gotten bigger but the size of the pond is still very small and may someday totally evaporate! My advice is to put your talents and energy to work in a company that can and will give back to you in a measurable way.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. As you know, ISO Claims Partners has consistently encouraged employees to provide feedback on how we can continually make improvements to make our organization the best place to work. In addition to providing multiple outlets for feedback electronically, we also strongly encourage employees to leverage our Senior Team’s open door policy to raise any concerns as well. It is concerning to hear that you feel we have not focused enough on investing in our talent. Investing in our employees is extremely important to us and that is why we rolled out a 360 review feedback process, leadership training, as well as a robust monthly training program this year. As an employee who has left the organization, I wish you had shared your concerns during your exit interview. We still would love to connect to better understand your feedback if possible. Please feel free to reach out to me directly to set up a time to discuss your concerns. Heather Nehiley – hnehiley@iso.com
