Pros

The Volunteers make the difference and 100% value for organization.

Cons

Lack is heard diversity, and old boy mentality continues to rule at ISPE. Even many of the responses shedding a positive review on this site are written by the organization’s leadership.

Pros

Time off between Christmas and New Years.

Cons

Horrible company that everyone should be weary of. Management treats their employees poorly. You will be overworked and under appreciated at this company. The managers are mediocre at best... most have little education, which is clear from their correspondence and how they interact with each other. My department constantly spoke negative of others and even of each other. If possible stay as far away from this place as possible.

Too Many Negatives to Make Up for the Positives

Pros

Remote work, week off between Christmas and New Years, some of the people are great

Cons

CEO - Has major anger issues, constantly seems annoyed with staff, doesn't seem to trust staff to do a good job, doesn't proactively foster a sense of a positive work environment Salary - Meritocracy doesn't exist here. If you work your butt off and do a great job, you will not be rewarded. Doesn't matter if you work 40 hours a week or 80 hours a week; it will go unrecognized, so you might as well just do 40 hours a week and set your boundary for a sane work/life balance. Senior management tries to sell employees on "we hire great people, that should keep you wanting to stay at ISPE." Most of the people are great, but a) people are never a reason to stay because anyone can leave at any given point in time, b) there are a few people who aren't great to work with who are in upper management and they carry a lot of weight in fostering a negative work environment, and c) my coworkers don't pay my bills
