      Pros

      As a Star I can get the flexibility I may want with my personal life. I get lot of training at different sites and gives me more knowledge of the IST systems. The only boss i have are the Operations Managers in the city.

      Cons

      As a STAR I have a lot of knowledge of the IST computer software now. If I travel to a different site and make some suggestions to improve not only is my idea shut down before I can complete my proposal. The Site Managers seem to think that all STAR employees are not 'real' employees for IST. Also all the 'great' benefits that the company shows you do not cover STAR workers.

      IST is a place you can go to work if you have no other options. The Pro's are the clients IST has and the people you meet while working there

      Cons

      Management from Site Managers all the way to Corporate in Atlanta are incompetent and no one understands how to communicate.

      Salespeople-look elsewhere!

      Pros

      The salary was great and based on location. They offer an excellent 6 week training program at their company headquarters in Atlanta, GA. You report directly to your assigned regional sales manager, however everyone on the team was more than happy to help with anything.

      Cons

      The CEO of the company is WAY too involved with the sales team. He will call you individually if you have not made any sales only weeks into leaving the training program. I saw him fire over 20 salespeople at my time with the company including sales executives who had hit their monthly goals, gone above and beyond, etc. I was laid off only 8 months into working here. The sales cycle is very slow as I was on the litigation side of the sales team, which gave me no time to make any sales. Every Monday, the CEO held a meeting with the entire sales team and would go around 1 by 1 to each person asking what they've sold that week. Most of the reps were new and had sold nothing and he would make us feel terrible about making no sales. He is a CEO that does not understand his business and expects way too much from the team. If you want to always be on edge and thinking you're going to get fired every single day while at work, then have at it. I do not recommend working here if you want job security and to be a part of a team who motivates you and encourages you.
