      Pros

      IST is a company dedicated to passion not only with their customers but their employees as well. Are they perfect? No, but what company or person is. I will say that whatever is not perfect there is a team in place to address it. Employees that work hard are recognized and rewarded through compensations, rewards, promotions, etc. If you are the type that wants something for nothing then this is not the place for you. We are all winners here working towards the same goals by growing the company, providing exceptional service and top notch technology.

      Pros

      The people that you meet of course, because most have the same views as you do about the company. Also the company supports Cystic Fibrosis, and sponsors a family which is wonderful.

      Cons

      The biggest downside is the level of disrespect and sexist behavior that is dished out from management. If you are a woman be prepared to be treated as if you are beneath everyone else, unless you are a beauty queen then you get wine and dined for a month, and have a party thrown for you while others can barely get what they deserve. Upper management acts as if they are afraid of the owner, but on the other hand use him as an excuse at every occasion possible. A lot of the people in higher positions are men, and female managers get treated as if they have no say so, and are a joke, and get laughed at by their superiors. Field Operations Managers come from competitors like Xerox, or Ricoh because they can get a higher salary, and better benefits then someone who has worked for the company for 5+ years.

      Pros

      IST is a company that I am very proud to work for. Employees are not placed in a "box" and told to just do a task. IST empowers all of its employees to be all they can be and welcomes each person's ideas & creativeness to the table. If you are looking for a company to grow with (fast), this is definitely the place to be. In my 5 years with IST, I have had more opportunities come my way than in my previous 11 years with my previous employer.

      Cons

      Company healthcare benefit costs are pretty pricey. Not enough cost sharing to help it to be more affordable for employees, especially with families.
