      Pros

      Great Benefits except for no stock options. Great sales force and customer service reps.

      Cons

      Corporate Paslode upper management has no respect for sales force. They are very disconnected from customers and market. Completely priced out of the market, but yet still ask why we are losing market share. Really?? When prices are double the competition to the end user it makes it very difficult and very frustrating!!! Upper Management very degrading and unmotivating toward sales force

      Cyclical business cycle created constant chaos in staffing. Great years followed by reduction in staff.

      Pros

      Competitive compensation package with great 401K plan. Commitment to R & D, constantly looking to be ahead of curve with new product release.

      Cons

      Constantly downsizing or shifting production to China, more concerned with maximizing profit today than retaining customers. They force corporate philosophy on every division even when not appropriate.

      Great benefits package, personal and corporate training, decentralized form of management allows for the small company feel with the benefits of a big corporation

      History of growth through acquisition frequently gives rise to business unit reorganization and elimination of positions, or in some cases complete office locations.
