      Great work environment and lifestyle - would like more transparency and meals

      Pros

      Gym, yoga, and massages help keep me relaxed and rejuvenated, and there are plenty of beautiful roads and trails to run/walk on. Operations does a good job of planning events and socials. No open workspace yet doesn't feel confining in the cubicles. No abundance of snacks, which I consider a pro since I would overeat if there were.

      Cons

      Upper management needs to provide transparency into (1) various business decisions made that change the company's trajectory (2) just their presence, even to new hires. No provided breakfast/lunch items (not even sandwich materials).

      Pros

      Title says it all. E-technology is currently one of the most important technologies (think about when you are googling a question or tutorial, that's e-tech!), and IXL is here for the next generation learning tools. People here are very friendly and knowledgeable. They know how to mentor new employees, they know what they are doing, and they know what their goals are.

      Cons

      No free lunch might be the only one? Can't think of others...

      Where Education Meets Technology

      Pros

      IXL Learning is a technology company in the first place, and has established very good standards for coding conventions, engineering principles, internal tools, etc. You definitely get the chance to grow yourself to become a better engineer. In addition, you'll have smart and friendly coworkers, good work life balance, great product, and challenging projects to work on. These are what you'll get at IXL, but should never take for granted.

      Cons

      None that I can think of.
