They encourage advancement, internal hires, and internal references.

Cons

This role is hectic and can be stressful. The department doesn't get the salaries it needs to keep top talent so the best employees get poached by other departments or companies.

Pros

There's been some change over the past few years but only for the better. The culture has improved from previous reviews I've read. The team strives for solidarity which is nice. The work/life balance is fair as long as the employee is willing/able to stay on task and get everything done and stop themselves from over-working. a lot of the burn out seem to come from folks who cant help themselves. Leadership is really understanding and fair. compensation is good, decent benefits, overall company engagement is good. A lot of community events and programs designed to support the individuals.

Cons

there's a little residual toxic culture among a few tenured members, nothing that cant be sufficiently ignored or coached through.
