      I’ve never been in a more toxic work environment in my life!!! Beware potential jobseekers, if you want to develop PTSD from the work environment, management and overall job quality at IL, take the job!! If you appreciate your sanity and keeping it run the other way!!

      Pros

      Stable company financially, but there’s a catch…

      Cons

      Management is a geriatric ward and treats employees like you would expect 50 years ago. They even fired a senior developer because he liked to wear shorts and flips flops. Most forward thinking thing they do is allow remote work, and that was because Covid forced them. Even then, the CEO hates it and tells people that. There are no stock options, which is strange for a large private tech company. A bonus program is dangled but old timers tell me it’s almost never paid at 100% despite company consistently hitting its numbers. Expected to use your own cell phone for work with no reimbursement. Executive team changes their minds on key strategy decisions ever couple months. I could go on, but we can leave it there.

      Not quite sure there are any +’s anymore. It’s a totally changed company, benefiting the upper Mgmt and venture capitalists, not the mid to lower level employees!!

      Cons

      Been with them for 5+ years and they are forcing everyone to get vaxed, if not put you on unpaid leave for a month and then they process you as a resignation so you can’t collect unemployment!!! Run, don’t walk away from this company!!! It’s not the same IL from several years ago!!!
