Pros

I have been privileged to work for Imagine Learning for several years. It is one of the best companies where I have ever worked! What can be better than helping children? It’s wonderful working with others who care about our mission and who bring their best talents to work each day. Our management team has industry experts and experienced professionals who are deliberate in their decision making. As a result, the company has been successful and our future is bright. I love coming to work each day. PROS: Company mission, company values, exceptional benefits, great co-workers, meaningful work.

Cons

No area of dissatisfaction to report.

Pros

Imagine Learning is a wonderful company. I've been with the company for several years now and I've been extremely well taken care of. The best part of IL is the company mission and values. They are written on the walls of the building and I've noticed that the employees exude the values. The culture is fun and inviting. It feels a lot like a big family. The compensation is more than fair for the marketplace and more importantly the feeling here is that people want to be here because they are involved in something significant, meaningful, and worthwhile. You can support another antivirus software or you can support a product that is making a positive difference in the lives of children around the world by teaching them critical language and literacy skills. There is a huge pantry full of snacks and treats to eat to keep you energized. Being in the field was great because of the autonomy that you have. You can plan you day according to what is most important for the schools that you support. The managers were fair in their expectations of accountability for your work. Interfacing with principals and teachers is a rewarding experience but the best part is seeing the children as they use the program.

Cons

The miles in the car and windshield time gets old from time to time. Fortunately the company is investing in technologies that will alleviate some of the travel time by providing an easy way to interface digitally. It can be a little lonely at times out on the road and you can often feel like your own island. Your peers and manager are collaborating with you often so that can help.

Pros

Everyone likes to roll up their sleeves for the benefit of the customers. We are interested in making sure that we have a product that works for kids and that can be integrated with ease in the schools and districts. The company cares about it's employees. We have great benefits. We celebrate our wins but get right back to work. There is a culture of watching out for each other, people really do care!

Cons

The company has grown fast in the last year and will continue. The processes and standardizations need to improve to accommodate the changes and growth.
